Chui Kong Yan, thriving in his career at a property management company, faces adversity when he and his wife, Helen Kwong, fall victim to an investment scam, leading to significant losses. Demoted due to Ding Chi Keung, a former adversary, Kong Yan accepts a CEO position at a Beijing branch, viewing it as a chance to reverse his fortunes. Relocating to the North with Helen, he confronts a midlife crisis, compounded by strained encounters with Su Fei. Seeking solace, gourmet influencer Chui Kong Man and busker Chui Po Yee turn to their elder brother Kong Yan in the North. The family envisions transforming an abandoned transformer house into a creative park, prompting Kong Yan, a Buddhist, to embark on a challenging battle for his life.
